A Little About Me
My name is Kristan Yadao and I am a graduate from the Art Institute of Colorado. I am currently employed as a graphic design artist. I am, however, open to commissions, particularly feather paintings. Commissioners recieve original pieces, framed and shipped to you.
The links listed above and on the left can be used to view my work. I have been a freelance painter since 1999, selling my paintings across the United States and sometimes overseas. I am now a CG artist and enjoy everything from digital painting to 3D modeling. I am excellent with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, After Effects, and Premiere), Maya, 3D Studio Max, Zbrush, and Corel Painter, all in which I have received extensive training, bringing my traditional artwork skills into the digital realm. I have an eye for detail and consider myself a perfectionist. The best in the industry are my inspiration and I will never stop trying to out-do myself. I have graduated with a bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Animation and a 3.8 GPA. I am the recipiant of several scholarships including the John Jellico Scholarship, the EDMC Scholarship, the Merit Award Scholarship, the Siggraph Scholarship and won Best of Show in the Art Institute's Student Art Show.
