1. What kinds of feathers do you paint on?
A: I use several types. The long list includes the following: turkey, goose, duck, pheasant, guinea fowl, peacock, woodpecker, macaw, other parrot feathers, cockatiel, chicken, emu, cockatoo, grouse. I'm sure this list will grow as different types that are allowed to be owned are obtainable.
2. Do you sell your paintings?
A: Yes! Check out my Art Pricing page for details! I take commissions on a regular basis. Also, you may find something you like in the Originals For Sale page. Those are first come first serve as they are one of a kind paintings. I also sell prints if you see something in my gallery that you like!
3. How do you paint on a feather?
A: Very carefully! :) Actually, this is something that has taken me years to satisfactorilly master. Feathers, unlike most media, have a tendency to "split". My best advice for beginner feather painters is to practice! This is the same I would say for anyone starting with a new media, be it paint, graphite, charcoal, or feathers!
